La Gringa sports easy walk-on access to over 600 square feet of flat, stable and comfortable deck area including open bar, bathroom, seating for up to 30 and 360 degree view access. Stay comfortably protected from the sun beneath our huge fixed hardtop canopy or just relax and sunbath on the open bow and suspended hammock netting, riding just a just a few feet over the open sea.

Snorkeling Tour

The La Gringa snorkeling/sightseeing tour is one not to miss while you are in Cabo. You will have exclusive and private use of our catamaran and crew for 3 hours (additional hours available). Enjoy full open bar, chips and hand made salsa/guacamole and even an optional fajitas lunch (additional charge). Our guests have claimed that this is the most memorable fun you can have in Cabo so please don’t miss it! Our crew will personally equip you with all the latest snorkel gear to make your swim with schools of tropical fish enjoyable and safe. We’ll anchor in calm, shallow waters near private, water accessible only beaches where you can enjoy the warm and crystal clear ocean, lounge or take a stroll on the beach, or make use of our onboard paddle board and Kayak. La Gringa is equipped with an onboard marine head (bathroom). Enjoy a fresh water shower onboard after your swim but don’t forget your towels.

FAQs

Where do we meet to board La Gringa?

La Gringa is normally docked at “E” dock at the Cabo marina. Please wait for your host or a crew member at the security gate at the top of the dock ramp on the Malecon. Please refer to your confirmation for information on location and/or departure information which may be specific to your tour or departure date.

What do I need to bring?

Bring your camera for sure. You may want to bring a towel if you plan on getting into the water and a great attitude otherwise! We’ll supply the fun and everything else you might need.

I have my own snorkeling gear. Should I bring it?

You can bring your own gear but we’ve got snorkels, masks, fins and life vests for you to use.

What kind of food and drinks are included?

Your tour includes and open bar with cheerfully served bottled water, pop, juice, beer, wine and and assorted liquor including delicious margaritas. We also offer chips and tortillas with handmade guacamole and salsa too! Usually have an assortment of melons it too. Sooo good! Light sandwiches (hero style) are provided on the afternoon snorkeling tour. If you have something special in mind let us know and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.

I get sea sick sometimes. Will this be a problem?

We try to provide a smooth and comfortable ride for our guests. La Gringa is very wide and stable and slices through the waves easily with her narrow pontoons. We do occasional encounter rougher seas if we are tracking whales further out but we will try to balance the quest for whales and your comfort and enjoyment. Our snorkeling tours are in calm shallow waters and generally very smooth and comfortable.

Tipping

The income of our crew is comprised largely of your appreciation of their hard work. A 15% gratuity is customary.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation received less than 24 hours from the date of the scheduled trip will be charged the full amount of the tour. Private charters cancelled prior to 72 hours prior to departure will be charged the full amount of the charter. There is no charge for rescheduling a tour provided that the day requested is available. La Gringa Cabo reserves the right to cancel or postpone a charter due to mechanical problems or poor weather. No charge will be incurred by our guests should these circumstances arise and La Gringa Cabo will not be held liable for consequences of these events. In any event, we will do our best to accommodate you and get you out on the water! Likewise if you are on a cruise ship and you book your reservation online with the details of your cruise noted in the ‘additional information’ field during checkout, and your ship schedule changes preventing you from joining the tour on La Gringa, your credit card deposit will be refunded.
